Piz Mitgel 3159m is a famous mountain in the Albula Group and in the Rhaetian Alps. Geographically localised in Switzerland, in the Swiss-canton Grisons (Graubünden). Piz Mitgel is close by the villages Savognin and Filisur. Additional is Piz Mitgel the neighbor of Piz Ela 3339m and Corn da Tinizong 3173m. In the area it has no more glaciers.

Piz Mitgel has a spectacular and athletically Via Ferrata (Climbing-rise)! It is one of the most difficult and strictest Via Ferrata's (Climbing-rise) in Switzerland, up to 3159m / 10364ft.
