OverviewPiz Nuna 3124m is a mountain in the eastern part of Switzerland, in the Swiss canton Grisons (Graubünden). He is located in the Rhaetian Alps and the Sesvenna Group. The mountain is in the northeast of the village Zernez and in the north of the Ofen mountain pass road (Ofenpass / Pass dal Fuorn). In the southeast of the mountain is the Stragliavita pass 2687m (Fuorcla Stragliavita). And it still has a small glacier in the north of the mountain, the Nuna glacier (Vadret da Nuna).
In the west of the mountain are the unique Macun - lakes. These are protected and are especially beautiful.
Route & DifficultySummer route on foot:
Best start at the Ofen mountain pass road, point "Prada Laschadura 1748m". On a hiking trail on goes into Laschadura valley (Val Laschadura), to the alp Laschadura 2000m. Further to the Stragliavita pass 2687m (Fuorcla Stragliavita). Over the southeast ridge, some part climbing on UIAA II, to the summit of Piz Nuna 3124m.
