Overview

Located near Mt.Cook village, the Sebastopol bluffs offer single and multipitch rockclimbing very close to the road. Some routes in the area are bolted, some are trad. The area is mainly used by guides for training purposes and by climbers waiting for better weather.

Getting There

Take road 80 to Mt.Cook village. Just past the NZAC Unwin hut, park beside the road. The Sebastopol Bluffs are to your southwest (a 30 minute walk).

Camping

White Horse hill camping ground, just past Mt.Cook Village.
