Overview

Osjecenica is a medium height mountain. The highest peak is Velika Osjecenica at 1,795 meters. It is abundant in flora and fauna, including Edelweiss. Osjecenica is characterized by high coniferous forests with few water springs. The Oštrelj saddle bordering with the Klekovaca mountain, and the peak of Oštrelj hosts a ski center with a ski lift. This area is very suitable for mountain and rock climbing and the more demanding and technical alpine activities.
