A ridge of three peaks leaves Jalovec southwestwards, being first Veliki Ozebnik (2482m), then Vrh Zelenic(2278m), and finally Mali Ozebnik(2324m).
The altitudes are copied from maps, some editions might differ.
The limestone wall of Vrh Zelenic NW is at the upper end of the Koritnica left bank, E of Plesivec (Log Wall).
Between the better known Veliki Ozebnik and the more evident Mali Ozebnik, Vrh Zelenic is hardly (if at all!) ascended, allthough the Zavetisce pod Spickom hut lies just below its E side (Ext. link in English).
Vrh Zelenic NW face (winter photo) | The only reference to the NW wall is in the now unfindable "Moznica and Koritnica climbing guide" by Igor Skamperle & Edo Kozorog (1985).
The Vrh Zelenic wall is mentioned in this book as short and steep, but as not having been climbed.
It must be something like 300 m tall.
Koritnica valley winter climbs and icefalls are to be found in this climbing guide.
GETTING THERE
When facing the Mali Ozebnik NW face from the basin-like terrace at its feet, we notice to our left a pass between the main wall (Vrh Zelenic) and a front range green tower: Veliki turn, 1998m (from further down this tower is not seen as such).
Up the scree to the pass and we are standing at the foot of the wall.
From the Koritnica valley, this route takes us to the foot of the Mali Ozebnik wall before continuing towards the Cez Brezice col (3 hours from the barrier).
