Kor-Ingalls route on Castleton Tower as seen from the approach. First 3 of 4 (only the beginning of P4 is drawn accurately) pitches are visible in this shot. All belays (including top of P4 not shown) are well bolted. In addition there are three bolts on the LOWER 2/3rds of P3. Photo taken on the morning of December 25, 2004.

Voted 10/10 | Ha ha, yeah I was in frigid Chicago in single digit temps for Christmas. Got back 2 days ago. Got some good stuff though, new shell pants, an ice screw, couple of new Yates pickets, two guide books for Washington climbs and the new Julbo glacier glasses that look like sunglasses. Voted 10/10 | I got one called something like "Climbing Washington's Highest Mountains", it focuses on the top 100 and their normal routes. The other was the Volume 2 of the Cascade Climbs series.
The backpack was a find in Galyan's in central IL (but they are found in about 6 or 7 Midwest states). Dick's Sporting Goods bought them out and is replacing their gear with cheaper stuff so they are having a free-for-all on their higher end stuff. I got a great dayhike/summit backpack that weights about 1.5 pounds but has nice things like pockets for pickets and a daisy chain and gear slings for alpine climbs.
