May 29th, 2005 - Casey...
May 29th, 2005 - Casey heading up to our high point on K2's East Ridge. I walked along the talus forming a break in the snow on the right and found an easy class 3 downclimb that dropped you into a bowl beyond, allowing the 5th class spires to be bypassed with ease. I believe the final line to reach the top ascends the snowfield, and then climbs either directly up the broken face (its not as steep as it looks) or cuts over into the chute to the right.
