This was the infamous morning of 8/8/88 when our party tried unsuccessfully to find a route down Downey Creek, returning to White Rock Lakes after thrashing around in the brush for several hours. Gunsight Peak, Sinister Peak, and Dome Peak. August 8, 1988.
