Sunset Ridge as seen in...

Sunset Ridge as seen in December. Notice the rime ice on the small fir trees, this is because the weather in the northeast is usually cloudy at this elevation and therefore condenses and freezes, leaving a frozen wonderland.

Rime ice

The phenomenon produces the rime ice seen here, pretty cool stuff, and great shot.
