This pic shows the summit hut which sits at the top of Timp . It is at the highest point of the Mt. Timpanogos massif, at 11,749 We had a brilliant day with a great 360 degree view. BTW, the guy with the dumb happy smile on his face is me. Oh well, I'll try and get a better picture. Anyone else got one to volunteer? Pic taken by Jeremy Lott -July 9th

Voted 10/10 | call ... Oh, hi Dean! I can't say that
I remember seeing it in 1976. Perhaps I
didn't make it to the true summit, which
means I have to climb it again. ":- O" | | Posted Mar 1, 2008 8:45 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I couldn't ask for a better guide! First,
I need to check out a few things in Nevada
and California. Hope I can afford the gas.
Thanks for the invite! | | Posted Mar 1, 2008 11:07 pm |

Hasn't voted | I'll be heading towards Arizona in April, hopefully to pick up the remaining county highpoints I need down there. Want to join us for Black Mesa up near Kayenta or Navajo Mtn?
Black Mesa is the highpoint for Navajo county. | | Posted Mar 2, 2008 10:08 am |

Looks like it could be a bit of a challenge.
I'll put it down on my planning sheet, thanks.

Hasn't voted | Scott has a great resource there. I have 6 Arizona county highpoints left to do and I'm hoping to get all of them done in April. Fellow SP'er will also be chasing his last three, which includes Brown's, Black Mesa and Baldy.
Should be challenging. | | Posted Mar 2, 2008 2:28 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Greetings from Clark County, NV! Saw an awesome amount of snow on the Colorado Plateau south of Flagstaff. Brown's is melting fast; the greatest challenge as far as the snow will be Baldy. I've been in Arizona since 1991, and this is the first time I've seen every single creek and major wash running. Even Mormon Lake appears to be filling up with water. I'll be around here on the web, Dean. Thanks for the information! - Larry
p.s.- Think there's a problem with the html on this page. Getting a big blank space in between! A pilot could land a 747 in there! | | Posted Mar 3, 2008 12:28 am |
