DeanAh, memories....

My very first ever backpack was to Shadow Lake when I was a mere 16 year old. After spending time exploring Shadow, 1000 Island and Garnet, I was hooked. The image of Mt Ritter and Banner and the Minarets forever etched in my mind and hopefully, next summer, I will stand atop both of those beauties.



It was this first backpack trip that hooked me on the mountains for life. Thanks for the photo, errr, thanks for the memories....

Glad to help you out Dean. I wish the picture did justice to the actual view. It's much better than the pictures shows. It was hard to break from lunch and continue up the trail....
