I've slept up there too - unplanned - after V Notch. I've done so many unplanned bivy's in the last 5 years, I decided to get back into big walls so I'll always have my bivy gear with me ( might as well be comfy )!

Late starts & unplanned approach variations that are difficult to find in the dark are great ways to set up unplanned bivies- practice & enjoy!
