Approach

Park at the Golden Cliffs climbers parking (see Getting There in main text) and proceed up the trail to the base of the cliffs.

The route is not visible from the parking lot. Once you reach the bottom of the cliffs head to the left. After about 30 feet you are there. This route is on a west facing wall.

Route Description

This is an obvious crack to the left of the big deep one. The route begins as a face climb straddling a very shallow crack. Really not much of a crack at all at first. Then halfway up enters the crack. It is fun but short. On the bottom there are excellent handholds to the left. You will see the chalk.

To me it seemed easier than a 5.8+.

Essential Gear

No bolts anywhere on the route. A two bolt + chain anchor sits at the top.
