Route Description
From your parking spot at the end of the jeep trail, you will follow a good use trail all the way to the summit. The use trail climbs southwest up the summit. Along the way you pass just to the north of point 10,937 feet and on the way to the saddle just before your final climb to the summit.
On maps the north summit of the Glass Mountain Ridge has the name Glass Mountain and has a radio repeater on it, but the highpoint is the is the south summit.
This hike is 3 miles round trip, with 1,900 feet of elevation gain.
The actual time it takes to do this hike will vary depending on conditions and the hiker's speed, but an average time would be about 3 hours round trip.
Essential Gear
No technical gear unless you head up there when it's icy and then you'll need typical winter hiking gear.
