Route Description


From the parking spot head northeast toward the summit (visible from where you park). Drop in into the wash and head toward the summit. Just stay in the wash until the summit ridge. If you want to stay on the easiest terrain head to the summit ridge just east of the summit or you can enjoy some of the rocks just under the summit on your way there.

Elevation gain: 1,600 feet
Distance: 3 miles round-trip
Time: 2 to 4 hours

Essential Gear


You don't need any technical gear. Sticky hiking shoes help as do gloves and long pants.
