Mt. Buckner from Sahale Arm...

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mt. Buckner from Sahale Arm...
Mt. Buckner from Sahale Arm at the point where one can drop down into Horseshoe Basin via a steep snowfield. The v-notched peak at left is the true Horseshoe Peak (the two summits forming the vee). Unfortunately, a cartography transfer error from old map to new moved Horseshoe to the prominent crag just left of Buckner. The two crags left of the old Horseshoe Peak are called "The Nails." Photo taken July 12, 1997.
