MTfred19West ridge from Barker Lakes  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 23, 2011

Gotta check it out - everyone else has. And it's well worth the effort. Anaconda residents are lucky to have such a big mountain in their backyard. Walking the long east-west ridge on a beautiful summer day is a lot of fun! Now I'll want to give it a shot in winter.

montaneerWinter Ascent  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jan 2, 2005

The first of many winter trips with rmick25. Sledding down snowmobile tracks from Hearst Lake made for bobsled like descent. Great summit with views of the Anaconda/Pintler Wilderness clad in white.

montanaboyvia Hearst Lake  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Aug 27, 2005

This is a long trek from the outskirts of town. A very large summit cairn shaped like a throne sits on Haggin along with a couple of summit registers. A quick look at the register entries indicates that this is the most climbed A-P summit.
