Mt Hector, on the glacier

Hector has massive crevasses. As we came down, we were concerned about the snow bridges that had held us on the way up. In several spots you could see into the crevasses, and it was impossible to see the bottom. We kept the rope tight and didn't dilly-dally on the way down. Sept 2, 2006
