Dennis does some great work with the camera, and he's out there more than just about anyone I know, so he sees lots of good stuff. Thanks for the comment! -Bob

When I saw this motive first time on a postcard I was completely amazed. The same about today. Excellent Photo!

I have never seen such a beautiful lenticular cloud like this. It looks like the mythological Mt. Olympus in the Cascades!

I've seen some pretty amazing lenticulars, but I didn't see this one, and I agree that it pretty much takes the cake. -Bob

I love lenticular clouds. I live so close to mountain, the foothills block my view of shots like this. Nice job!

I'm with you -- they're beautiful, but not much fun getting caught within. I see you live in Welches -- and that you have too little time for the mountains. You and me both on that last point! -Bob

I think the question: "Why is Mount Hood named Mount Hood?" gains a certain amount of...shall we say... superfluousness?

What a photo!!!

Dennis appreciates all the comments on his photo. I only wish he had LOTS more photos on the web -- he's got a huge number of great photos of the Pacific Northwest. Thanks!
