endless false summits
My brother and I summited late afternoon in intermittent clouds. Since visibility was limited, we kept hiking false summits. With breaks in the clouds we were able to see/drool toward Golden Hinde and a few other peaks.
A long day (just under 12 hours) that included Morrison Spire. In-your-face views of the Hinde, Rambler, the Colonel, Elkhorn, Kings and on and on from the moment you hit the Morrison/McBride ridge. Wonderful!
