Mt. Rainier | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
View from the "Flats" on the Ingraham Glacier on our way down. The clouds dumped snow, hail and rain on us on the way down...hmm, and they looked so pretty here. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | StarMan | Ah yes... | |
Voted 10/10 | ...often the pictures are more beautiful and serene after the trip! So, did you make the summit? If so, congratulations :-). | | Posted Aug 24, 2008 8:08 pm |

Hasn't voted | Ha! You are so right! Yes, I made the summit but not before I got snowed on, almost blown away by the winds, hailed on, fried by the extreme heat then frozen solid 1 hour later and finally dumped on by a downpour...and then came the descend...which was ditto. But, all worth it!!! | | Posted Aug 24, 2008 8:17 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Well, there's always a silver lining beneath
all those clouds. As long as you have the
proper equipment & clothing, you'll hang on to your survival instinct and a piece of your own life. And when all else fails,
Just remember this line from No Country For Old Men:
"Sometimes bad luck saves you from all the
worst luck you could ever have."
