Mt. Rosa massif (and steep wall) seen from east. Photo taken from Mt. Campo dei Fiori (Varese - Italy), some 80km away (!), in a cold, october 2004, evening at sunset. Winds from north blow snow away from main peaks (from left: Piramide Vincent, Ludwigshohe, Parrotspitze, P.ta Gnifetti or Signalkuppe, Dufourspitze, Nordend; at the right end, Cresta di S. Caterina).
