Gorgeous pic! Looks a lot like the view from the tarns below Tomyhoi Mtn. Nice shot!

When I was a teenager in the Bellevue Camera Club, a member returned from California with a fanfold postcard set. One of the views was this (pretty much), captioned, "The rugged High Sierra." Surely you remember driving S through Oregon to get here?

Years ago I painted this scene, looking at a coffee table photo book. I've always wanted to visit and even though it's only about 6-7 hours from my home in Washington State, I haven't seen it in person yet. Fall does look like the best time, very nice shot, thank you for sharing this beautiful photo.
