Mt. Superior/Monte Cristo...

Mt. Superior/Monte Cristo from Baker Pass (between Gobblers Knob and Mt. Raymond). Mineral Fork is the major bowl below Superior. To this date, we've used snowshoes to travel in the winter, but no more. We're totally convinced it's time for touring skis. We've slowly grown tired of tracked out bowls at the ski resorts while areas like these lie and wait. March 26, 2005.
