Mt. Tenabo (NV)

If you can drive up the road, a good place to park is over towards the county repeater you see on the lower hill below. The road flattens to a saddle over there and there were several good places you could park. To continue on in your vehicle to Mt. Tenabo means that you will have to deal with switchbacks where the only way to negotiate them is to back up a couple of them, a little hairy for anyone who hasn't ever done such a thing. It is best to walk them and would entail only a mile or so. 5-25-12
