| Liked timponeeke side better--seems to be a moderate climb. Climbed it twice: once in 2000, another in 2008. First large mountain I hiked--but both times I was in horrible shape. Still made it. | |

| I hadn't been up in a few years...since I started running peaks regularly. I was well impressed by the views etc. that I guess I had undervalued in the past. Man this mountain is runnable! Made it from the saddle to the summit in 12:31 and back from Summit to saddle in 6:36. Entire descent under an hour (cruising to the outhouse and then bombing the rest of the way). My first run up was at age 10...this was summit #6 I believe. | |

| 10/12/2010 Started at the Aspen Grove TH. First climbed East Peak (10791), then went over to Roberts Horn, then on to Timp, then to South Timp (11722), back over Timp and back to TH. Perfect fall day. 8/2/1999 From Timpooneke with lesdubois. | |

| Great summit on a beautiful mountain. Cole's (7 years old) second 11,000' summit. He did great making it to the summit and struggled coming down. Time to make an investment in a good pair of hiking boots for Cole. :) Good friend Rob Seitz joined us and did great. | |

| Started from Aspen Grove and was welcomed by a gorgeous sunrise. The weather was perfect. The billy goats were everywhere at the upper meadows. One of the best hikes in the state. Beautiful place. | |

| Great trail all the way to the top, even through the steep staircase section. Still busy even on a September Friday! Unfortunately didn't get much in the way of views as the Provo side was fogged in pretty good all morning. Made the traverse out and back to the south summit and then went up Roberts Horn on the descent. | |

| Beautiful day; did not have to worry about changing weather. Lots of goats before the lake and up on top. Took about 130 photos of goats! Surprised to see some of the waterfalls had dried up for the season. No way to slide down the "Timp glacier"; there were more rocks than snow. | |

| Went up from Aspen Grove, followed the trail of ants to the summit, skied down the glacier. Camped by Emerald Lake and skied again the morning of Aug 1 so I could claim turns for July and August. The glacier was hard, bumpy, and full of rocks. | |

| Ran up the Giant Staircase with my son Kaden today from the Timpooneke trailhead to the summit. Kaden is 12 years old...his time: 2:13:40 from trailhead to summit. Good job, way to kick Dad's trash. He says he'll be back later in the summer to beat the two hour mark. | |

| Hiked with the Eug to the top in 3.5 hours, including plenty of breaks and idle chitchat with other hikers. Had to shoo a mountain goat off the trail near the summit, but got some sweet paparazzi shots. first time glissading on the way down - the wet ass was worth it! | |

| A good hike. My most memorable was from Aspen Grove trail in early spring. My buddy and kicked steps up one snowfield after another then climbed the vertical cornice with ice axes to the saddle.We made the summit then glissaded down half the mountain on the snowfields preserving a year of use on our knees. | ||
