I loved Philmont

...went there in 1969. That experience was a big part of my decision to live in NM for 16 years. I felt elated each day I was there. As Willa Cather wrote, "each day in New Mexico, he awoke a young man" (paraphrased, from "Death Comes to the Archbishop").

	Voted 10/10	This was actually the next week after our trek at Philmont. Curtis and I are also active with a Venturing Crew and they returned to Angel Fire to mountain bike, whitewater raft the Rio Grande, and summit Touch-Me-Not. --mark d. (Curtis' dad)
