| I was visiting a friend in St Louis and we decided to visit this mountain so that we could get a "climb" in. No views but still an interesting place to visit. | |

| Summited and then spent a great night at the lowest of the three CCC stone shelters. Myself and another backpacker had fires going in each of the two fireplaces which made for a toasty night. Great views down to Big Creek from just outside the shelter. | |
