Can't believe I have been up to Camp Muir 4 times before getting this summit. Glad though I got it. Well worth the 20 extra minutes.

Snowfield traverse to Camp Muir was epic, by my non-climber standards. Probably my second favorite behind Half Dome. Didn't make it to the top of the Peak as I probably had mild altitude sickness (started the day in Ashford at 1000 ft.) and didn't remember to climb it stupidly. I don't think it's prominent enough to be a mountain, though, so I technically didn't miss out on a peak to bag.

This is a fun little detour from Camp Muir. I've been to the northwest summit twice, which I believe is higher than the southeast summit. The second time was in May of 2005.

It was just a matter of time before this one went up:) One of the few things to do at Muir while you wait, rest, acclimate or mope.
