View should not be missed

Utah highway 261 bisects an area rich in prehistoric findings. Only about 25 miles in length, it offers weeks of visiting pleasures. This road includes Moki Dugway switchbacks (another report) and Bears Ears (another report). A couple years ago a car crashed over the edge of the view. The investigators said it had to be intentional. I didn't see the car down there, but the view seems to go on for 100 miles.

Getting there:

Utah highway 261 goes north and south. A dirt road number 241 takes off to the southwest starting near the south end, very close to the switchbacks. The nice dirt road is only about 4 miles long ending at the view.
