a good shorter hike from Government Camp
with Wasatch Mountain Club group. We made our way up to the terminus of the Cascade Ski Lift, then found a way to the summit ridge through the forest. We found the switchbacking trail only after summiting. The trail from "Powerline Trail" (nordic ski trail) is very indistinct.

Nice little snowshoe
Had good views of Mount Hood from the summit. I recall it being 700' of gain.

A massive winter storm sabotaged us from getting multiple summits. We did though get this awesome small peak which made the trip well worthwhile!!!
