Thanks for the kind words! Although GUMO NP calls the Bowl a "Sky Island", I think the Davis Mountains are much more out of place in what is normally a harsh desert.

i ve been2 the davis mountains this past sep 19th it was 111 in arizona that day and 63 degrees there at the mc donald observatory its a great place2live or visit best of all theres hardly any people at all i loved it
