Voted 10/10 | That's a sweet shot Misha. Where did you take it from? At what zoom? | | Posted Apr 12, 2004 1:40 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Martin. I took this from El Cap Meadow with a 205mm lense + 2x digital zoom (within the camera). I could blow it up even more, but it was loosing some magic with any extra magnification :) | | Posted Apr 12, 2004 1:56 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Misha,
did you also take a large scale overview shot of El Cap at that time - i.e. something showing the size of the roof rel. to the wall as a whole? It would be cool if you could post that as well and interlink these two within the captions.
This is a great shot!!

Hasn't voted | Radek,
I did take a photo of the entire mountain face at the same time as this close-up. You can find it here. The reason why I did not post it on SP is because it is a very ordinary shot of El Cap that pretty much everybody can get who happen to be in the Valley. If you/others feel that adding this photo to SP and linking with the close-up will add value to the site, I will gladly post it.
Thanks a lot for your comment!

Hasn't voted | Would a rock falling from The Nose be called "The Booger"? | | Posted Apr 16, 2004 11:51 am |

Voted 10/10 | Yes, and you would need to shout "BOOOOGER!!!" at the top of your lungs, too. | | Posted Apr 16, 2004 1:43 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thank you! One can only imagine what other El Cap routes like Mescalito or Tangerine Trip resembled to people who named them :) | | Posted Apr 20, 2004 9:29 am |
