My Lovely Ex

My Lovely Ex

My lovely X (size XS tent or XL bivy bag?) weighs just 2 lbs - on the lee side of Mały Śnieżnik/Malý Sněžník/Kleiner Schneeberg (1326m). The sun is sinking behind the trees. 8 p.m., 24 August 2009

Your XS tents...

or XL Bivy sack beats my old one-man tent by 4 or 5 ounces.
For some reason, it looks bigger than a 2 pound tent.
I bet you didn't even need a ground pad.
Cheers, Jacek,
Marc

Re: Your XS tents...

I did have a comfortable ground pad (about 200g) although – as you noticed – the moss was very soft. Unfortunately, there's no fly sheet and the ventilation system works so well that I've learnt a warmer sleeping bag is a must. I've no idea what's available in the US these days but over here the best real tent for one is probably this.
Thanks Marc, for taking a look at my brand new home:)
Cheers
Jacek

Re: Helium?

Why the hel:)hellium? They say it's just the 2nd lightest element.

Re: Helium?

Yes, but the first one is less safe to handle :)

Hello Jacek :

I am very confused.

When I saw your caption of "My Lovely Ex," I
was hoping to see the portrait of a lovely (but unlucky in love) woman !!!

: ))))))

Re: Hello Jacek :

This world is confusing, Larry, although I'm trying hard to make it less confusing as you see. :)))
