Ok, so i looked at this for a while and it really hit me that this picture is really, really underrated. Its one the few photos that we can all relate with as climbers and adventurers, and yet have no idea what period nor what era in Himalayan history it has come from.
It is a fantastic capture, detailing life in high Asia and the East. It demonstrates both the peace and anxiety that come in such places simultaneously.
