There can be few more satisfying things than ice on one's beared. Taken after climbing Hidden Chimney (Grade II/III), Cairngorms. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | Sarah Simon | Looks...fun? | |
Voted 10/10 | Or, fun-ish, perhaps, in the "I'm really cold and suffering but having fun" sort of way. :)
Climb safely,

Hasn't voted | Hi Sarah, yea, winter climbing in Scotland really does stretch the meaning of the word fun... Fortunately, conditions on the climb itelf were excellent :) Cheers, Dan. | | Posted Apr 21, 2011 12:29 pm |

Voted 10/10 | is one thing, but ice on the skin another. I'm still suffering from long term effects of frostbites I received 45 years ago. I hope you walked away unscathed.
Hidden Chimney, sounds like it was all in the shade!
Cheers for your great climb, Dan.

Hasn't voted | Very true; fortunately I wasn't out in this too long so I returned happily unscathed. The weather on the climb itself was actually superb, but on our decent it turned - Scotland's weather is notoriously fickle.
Cheers
