| The weather was sunny, but it was windy and cold up there by this time. A couple of hunters had bagged a buck and were dragging it down to the trailhead. All in all it's a nice and relatively short hike. | |

| Second time in this area, first was during a -10 degree winter a few years ago....damn cold in the sink area. Second time: Left work and busted through several snow banks to grab a camp site. Hit the peak early and continued over to the GOG'S. | |
