| I have hiked this 8.7-mile loop a couple of times several years ago, in both summer and winter, but this time I was accompanied by my wife and 10-1/2-month-old son, DayHikerJr. Temperatures started off comfortable, with some cloud cover, but the clouds cleared out as the afternoon progressed, in some mysterious reverse-monsoon fashion. So we were quite hot by the time we reached Sipapu Bridge and had to hike up and out of the canyon. But the canyon and its bridges were beautiful and well worth all the suffering. | |

| Made a descent down to the Bridges during a winter road trip back east. No one around. The sun was shining and it was a bluebird day. Splendid. | |

| Sorry but I don't remember alot about this trip. I did a number of hikes during my one day stay. It just wasn't a good trip. no the place is great I just was with the wrong people. Sometimes things happen that way. Hey go visit the place you wont regret it! | |

| We enjoyed one of those bright sunny days so common in these parts when the blue sky almost hurts your eyes it's so bright. I especially liked the lush greenery under Sipapu. | |
