Navajo Falls
New Navajo falls are located about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) past the Supai village.
There was a flood in August of 2008, which destroyed Navajo Falls and new falls were formed. More than 450 people had to be evacuated from the canyon.

Believe me - Arizona has more water than what
the average person thinks.

Canada? Makes sense; there seems to be a
flood of people moving north to escape from
the sinking economy of America.

we practically could not see Navajo Falls. It was very much hidden from view shying away from photographers.

Again the flood. I read that it slightly changed the directions of the river, so falls look different now... And I thought first that there was a construction going by - hehe.... but it was the flood...

No wonder the residents of Supai have lived there for over 700 years. Havasu Canyon is so peaceful & beautiful.
