Navajo traditional hogan

Hogan is traditional Navajo home, dome-shaped dwelling with a doorway facing east. A hogan is also a secret place for ceremonies. The structure is made out of natural resources such as juniper ponderosa, juniper barks (for insulation), and dirt plastered over the dome shape structure - much like the igloo-shape.
