although technically not difficult, this type of sandstone is very slippery, most rock features have a layer of dusty sand on it. There were two pitons there for protection.

I just wonder how much harm climbing can do over time to all these sandstone towers of the American SW.

	Hasn't voted	I should post some photos of the rope wear too... You are right, Jacek. The sandstone is incredibly soft and I can imagine climbing this with an ice ax - that would really cause tons of harm. I think it is beautiful to summit desert towers, but the quality of the rock is much better elsewhere...
