We returned via the Picnic Area route, around mile 8.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. A nice hike through the woods which also goes through the actual summit. No views, and nothing to indicate it, but never the less the "true" summit. 4 June 2006. CommentsNo comments posted yet.
