Nearing the summit

of Kingtop. Surprisingly, for an arid area there was a lot of vegetation as this picture shows. This picture also shows the terrain at its most difficult so you can see this is an easy hike at this point. No hands required as nothing goes over class 2 hiking. It is probably different if you use the Bonny Stairs approach. 5-31-08
