Mind you, when I posted my photos from exploring the Cordillera Negra, I had to look at my map and use Google Earth to figure out which mountains I saw in the photos.
For this one, at first I wasn't sure where I was when I took it. The photo timestamp puts it in the general area west of Recuay, and by looking at my other photos of the Cordillera Blanca from across the valley, and comparing it with the view from Google Earth, I figured it out. Interesting, these puzzles - but you know that, you've done a lot of that yourself!
