Nevado Hualca Hualca (6025m) | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Nevado Hualca Hualca is next to Volcan Sabancaya (5976m).
Seen at sunset, from outside the village of Cabanaconde (alt. 3300m).
We had walked for 8 hrs in and out of the Colca Canyon (-1400m / +1400m).
It was a great reward to be able to enjoy the sunset.
A few minutes before a couple of condors had passed by. Just perfect !
The dry mountain on the left is Cerro Ahuashune (5100m) and in front of Nevado Hualca Hualca (slightly on the right) is Nevado Lipayoc (5150m).

Hasn't voted | Thanks for this kind comment but I think that
the triumph is for the mountain itself for being beautiful. I just took a photography. | | Posted Sep 6, 2007 2:30 am |
