Re: Great photo

Thanks, Romain. I think it's the best "reflection shot" that i've ever taken, which isn't saying too much. On this day at least, everything was lined up for a perfect shot. Too bad they don't allow camping...

Re: Great photo

Misha-

It's a Canon S30 PowerShot. Not sure I'd go so far as to actually recommend it. Personally, I've got my eye on a digital SLR in the next couple years. I can't imagine needing more than 5 MP. If I can swap lenses and use filters, I'll be really happy.

I wrote up a short review of the S30 if you're interested.

Re: Great photo

Coincidentally, a colleague just showed me pictures taken with his new Olympus C5050. I'm REALLY impressed! The image fidelity on some super-closeup shots of a bee on a flower were absolutely stunning, without any image processing...

Re: Great photo

Olympus and Nikon are known for their good macro capabilities. I am personally using Minolta Dimage 7i camera but will switch to either this, this or this within the next year. Although, I am starting to like my regular SLR slides more and more :)
