Great area and so enjoyable hike! As far as I remember I continued my trip to the West from the peak along the border through Maly Snieznik to Trojmorski Wierch peak and then back down to Miedzygorze. I can't believe it will be 10 years this year, I am really getting older, hehehe.
While driving to Karpacz we decided to visit Miedzygorze again /I'm a waterfall lover/. Quick ascent via Schronisko pod Snieznikiem. Several turists on the top, nice views /Praded, Karkonosze etc/.
A mountain really worth to visit.
Now the fantastic thing is you're allowed to cross the Polish-Czech border wherever you wish except the nature reserve around the very top so the number of legal routes you can make up to enjoy hiking/snowshoeing in the area has soared:-)
The two of my hikes I remember best were:
1 Early May: Stronie Śląskie - Płoszczyna Pass - Stříbrnice - the summit - Międzygórze (2 days; huge herds of female red deer at dusk, still snow near the top)
2 July (too hot, the autumn's much better): Międzygórze - Summit - along the border to Międzylesie (one day)
