Nine miles to the north of...

Nine miles to the north of Spectacle Buttes is Martin Peak (8,511 ft). Featured quite prominently here is Martin's endless SE Ridge--a ridge I intend to take all the way to the summit when I get around that way. Directly behind Martin with its top in the clouds is Goode Mountain. August 12, 2003.
