My Dad always said it is easier to ask forgiveness than get permission!
I have learned to be honest when caught. It goes easier when I get the inevitable consequences.
BTW I understand the fine for climbing on the Pilot Pinnacle is several hundred dollars and the possibility of losing the ability to get climbing permits on the rest of the climbing wall. The second penalty has given me pause.
It is a two to three pitch climb that could be accomplished early one morning before the park personnel could know what is happening. Nah... maybe in a few years??!!
