North Couloir Traverse 052007

A view down of the Class 4 section of the traverse of the North Couloir of Mt. Sill. This is at the top of the section, which is the crux of the climb. The snow here was sugary so footing was not good, although the rock was very solid. In red you can see footprints, to give you scale, and the yellow circle is the traverse across. This photo was taken 05/20/07, but keep in mind this was a low snow year.
